Dear Ones~
This
time over at Double D the challenge is WINTER. Here is the Mood
Board for our inspiration:
And this is my card:
Isn't this little guy just the cutest?? I fussy cut his hat, mittens and scarf from some Stampin' Up Christmas paper. That glitter isn't really pink, it just photographed that way. How annoying!! The die cut panel behind the snowman was cut 3 times and glued together for added dimension. I used the Sizzix Expand Paste on his hat for a fluffy ruff and pompon. The Ingredients:
GKD White Card Stock
SSS Filigree Snowflake Embossing Folder
Memory Box Woodland Oval Die
Gerda Steiner Designs Snowman Friends Stamp
GKD Seasonal Greetings Stamp for Greeting
SU Christmas Patterned Paper
Impression Obsession Tiny Bird Die
Sizzix Expand Paste

ReplyDeleteOH WOW this is awesome! Yes, he is too too cute and the scene you've created is fabulous! All the little touches of red really pop! WELL DONE!!
ReplyDeleteHe is CUTE! Love how he is surrounded by his pretty little red cardinal friends--nothing like them on a white snowy scene! Loving your texture and snowy glittery details!
ReplyDeleteLike Donna, I think he is adorable and I didn't miss the red cardinals on this card. I love that you added them to the scene. I have not seen that snowman before, is he new or old?
ReplyDeleteI've been admiring and loving your card since I first saw it. Cute little snow guy in a beautiful snowy scene! Love the embossing behind the trees. Even if the glitter isn't supposed to be pink I still think it's pretty that way. This is just wonderful, Judy!
ReplyDeleteThe sweetest winter scene! The woodland oval die is awesome and looks amazing with the embossed background Your little snowman is too cute surrounded by his feathered friends. Love all of the dimension and sparkle!
ReplyDeleteHe's especially cute with your paper piecing and paste expansion, Judy. That embossing folder is gorgeous behind the woodland die cut. Beautiful card!
