Can You Handle the Pressure - LUCKY/ST. PATRICK'S DAY

Dear Ones~

There's a new challenge over at Can You Handle the Pressure.   For this challenge blog you MUST use an EMBOSSING FOLDER on your project.  Heat embossing (with embossing powder) is permitted but only IN ADDITION to your embossing folder design.  Each new challenge will have a 'TWIST' which is optional ... your choice to use or not.

The OPTIONAL TWIST for today's challenge is:

LUCKY/ST. PATRICK'S DAY

 This is my card:
As I have said before on this blog, I am really into creating the collage look on my cards lately. This card is no exception. I purchased and downloaded some St. Patrick's Day ephemera from Etsy, printed them out, and fussy cut the elements. Aren't those tags fun??  The SLAINTE greeting is computer generated. It's Irish for CHEERS!!! The green beer glass is from an old Stampin' Up stamp set, and I used some expand paste from Sizzix for the foam.

 The Ingredients:
Recollections Green, Ivory and Black Card Stock
SU Twisted Rope and Cane Weave Embossing Folders
SU Brewed for You Stamp Set for Beer Stein
GKD Lucky Clover Ink for Green Beer
Sizzix Expand Paste for Foam on Beer Stein
Random Digital Ephemera Images from Etsy
Trinity Stamps Black Gems

So head on over to the Can You Handle the Pressure Blog and play along, and don't forget to check out all the beautiful cards the other designers have created while you are there. I can't wait to see all your wonderful designs!!

Until next time dear reader, I hope you "can handle the pressure"!
Here's celebrating your CREATIVE MUSE.
