STV-Lay It Out Both Ways

Dear Ones~
It's softly snowing here, and has been all day. A great day to hunker and play in my craft room. Today I made a couple of cards for a challenge that I haven't participated in for a really long time. These two cards have been made for the Stamp TV Release Challenge. I LOVE Gina K Designs stuff, so I was excited to pull out some stamps and just play for change, without having to have my creation be for a Design Team. I am also entering these into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Use Patterned Paper.

Gina's challenge was to make a couple of cards using the same stamps, but do the layout both horizontally and vertically. Here are my cards~
I used Melanie Muenchinger's Stately Flowers 11 set for this. I don't think I have ever used it, and it's so lovely. I pulled out my Prismacolors and Gamsol after I watched Gina and her daughter, Rina, color with them the other day. So much fun.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD Blue Lagoon, Black and White CS
GKD Stately Flowers 11 Stamp Set
Recollections Spring Decorate It PP
GKD Cottage Garden Stamp for Greeting
Prismacolor Pencils
Gamsol
Nuvo Crystal Drops
Stickles
Stash Ribbon

Here are the Ingredients for This One:
GKD Passionate Pink, Black & White CS
Recollections Spring Decorate It PP
GKD Stately Flowers 11 Stamp Set
GKD Cottage Garden Stamp for Greeting
Prismacolor Pencils
Gamsol
Nuvo Crystal Drops, Stickles
Stash Ribbon

It really feels good to be back to playing the challenges over at Stamp TV - it has been way too long. Thanks for stopping by, I adore your comments. Stay well, my friends!

Hugs,

BTW, you could have started your post with; it's 75 degrees, the sun is shining and the birds are chirping--a perfect day to spend in the craft room LOL See? It works for every season :)

  7. That sounds so nice to have the snow falling and you just creating and making beautiful cards like these. But I still am glad that I ma in Florida. I love the layout both ways and the flower is gorgeous. So much fun and I agree, that it is good to just create and not have to do a challenge. Something must be in the air, as we all three did this one.

  8. Both cards are so very beautiful either way you make them. Great coloring. And, we had gentle snow Sunday but just bitter cold now. Still a good time to stay indoors and make cards.

  9. I know you guys are tired of the snow, but that sounds like a lovely scene to craft in. It is so much fun to see the Gina K stamps being pulled out and used. My goal for the new year is to practice coloring. Pencils and gamsol seem to be making a comeback and I have never used the Zigs I bought almost a year ago. Love the frame around your flowers and sentiment and the papers are perfect.
