Power Poppy - Simply Resistable

Dear Ones~
This is the second challenge I have entered today. Woo Hoo - I'm on a roll!!!!! This time it's over at the Power Poppy Creative Confetti Challenge. Julie has invited us to use the emboss resist technique on our project. Here is what I came up with:

I really enjoy using this technique, especially with white embossing powder. Here I used the Power Poppy Azaleas stamp set. I white heat embossed the largest image and then painted it with my Distress Markers and some water. Then I stamped a smaller image from the set onto some GKD Whisper card stock with Whisper Ink for a background on the card base. Kinda hard to see in the photo, it's very faint but I like the look.  I heat embossed the greeting on some vellum and wrapped it around the focal so that you can see some of the flowers behind.

Here is a close up of the pretty flowers.

The Ingredients:
GKD Whisper and Passionate Pink Card Stock
GKD London Fog Card Stock
GKD Whisper Ink
Tim Holtz Botanical 3D Embossing Folder
Strathmore Watercolor Paper
Power Poppy Azaleas Stamp Set
GKD White and Black Embossing Powder
Distress Markers
Stash Vellum
Black Nuvo Drops

Thanks for stopping by, I adore your comments. I hope you have a wonderful week!!!
Hugs~
