Dear Ones~
This time over at Double D we want to see cards featuring something that begins with "M". Here is the Mood Board for our inspiration:
And here is my card - "M" is for MOON:
Believe it or not, this card was done with 2 stamps. They are by a company called StampScapes, and they are so cool. The trees in the foreground are from the SU Majestic Mountains Die Set.
The Ingredients:
GKD Black Onyx and Dandelion Card Stock
Strathmore Watercolor Paper
Lakeside Cove Stampscape Stamp
Cloud with Rising Moon Stampscape Stamp
GKD Obsidian Amalgam Ink
SU Majestic Mountain Dies
Master's Touch Watercolors
Stickles

ReplyDeleteBe still my heart!!! Only two stamps? Really? This is just gorgeous and I think that you have created a scene from Michigan where you live. This is charming, engaging and so artistic.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful scene! I've been seeing a lot of cards done lately using these Stamp-scapes. They are truly amazing and I can't believe you made it using just two stamps. Incredible inspiration!!

ReplyDeleteI just LOVE creating with my Stampscape stamps and I see you do too! What a FABULOUS scene you have created ... perfect for so many occasions. LOVE how you colored only the moon & it's reflection! Great job! I have these two stamps ... I've used the lakeside cove many, many times but have never paired it with the cloud w/rising moon stamp ... great idea and looks awesome! Thanks for inspiration! Now I want to get out all my Stampscapes and get inky! LOL Unfortunately no time today but the next rainy day I know what I'm going to be doing! LOL HUGS and HAPPY DAY my friend!
ReplyDeleteWowzers, Judy! Such an amazing scene you've created! Beautiful in black and white with the pop of yellow for the moon and it's reflection. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! You have created a perfect, romantic moonlight scene. With that being said, I can see a great Halloween card with that moon and sky.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scene and it makes me want to get my Stampscapes out now but I am not gathering a lot to the kitchen table for crafting just in case I get company this weekend. Too hard to put it all away.
ReplyDeleteThose stampscape stamps are an art on their own aren't they Judy. What you have down with this one is sheer magic. That moon and the reflection with the overhead sky is brilliant. Beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteI have looked at these stamps so often and I love what you can do with them. You did an awesome job with the scene. The yellow moon with the reflection on the water adds the perfect amount color to your scene.
ReplyDeleteWow, that moon just stopped me in my tracks! This is amazing, Judy!!
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning, Judy.
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! Such a pretty card, and I love the light from the moon reflecting in the water below. Beautifully done! <3
ReplyDeleteThis is such a stunning card Judy. I so love the StampScapes stamps but I can't make cards like this. Your colouring of the moon and the reflection in the water is absolutely amazing - well done!
ReplyDeleteWhat a striking scene you've created here. I have most of those stamps but you've just lifted them completely by using them in this way. Absolutely gorgeous. I'm not a yellow lover at all but this looks amazing - I love contrast.
