Dear One~
This time over at Double D the challenge is to use the iconic Poinsettia. Here is the Mood Board for our inspiration:
And here is my card:
I wanted to use dies to make my poinsettias, but alas I have none. So I used this Orange Blossoms die set, and I think they did the trick. I die cut a bunch of them and sponged the centers with a nice Cranberry Tart ink. I used an Anna Griffin embossing folder and splattered it with gold paint. The centers of the poinsettias are done with Martha Stewart Microbeads. The Ingredients:
Recollections Rose Petals Card Stock
GKD Fresh Asparagus Card Stock
GKD White Card Stock
Anna Griffin Matelasse Embossing Folder
Creative Expressions Orange Blossoms Dies
Tim Holtz Holiday Greens Dies
SU Beautiful Boughs Dies
SU Ornate Frames Die for Greeting
GKD Cranberry Tart and Christmas Pine Ink
Martha Stewart Luster Glass Gold Microbeads
