Double D - Octoberfest

Dear Ones~

I can't believe it's time for Octoberfest, but there you just are. And that's the theme for the new Double D Challenge. Here's the Mood Board for our inspiration:

Here is what I came up with:
This cute Scarecrow is from a new set over at Gina K Designs called Autumn Scarecrow. It's designed by Debrah Warner, and I just think he's so stinkin' cute. I had a great time paper piecing him with various patterned papers. Love how he turned out. That textured panel behind the Scarecrow is a piece of wall paper I found in my stash. Have no idea what it's called.

Here's a closer look at him. He just makes me smile.

The Ingredients:
Paper Studio Natural Botanical Patterned Papers
SU Cajun Craze and Very Vanilla Card Stock
GKD Autumn Scarecrow Stamp Set
Concord & 9th Layering Leaves Dies for "Wheat"
SU Tasteful Label Die for Greeting
SU Copper Embellishments

If you head on over to the  Double D Challenge Blog and play along, you could win this adorable die by Cottage Cutz, isn't he cute? Don't forget to check out all the beautiful cards the other designers have created.

You should take a minute to swing on over to the Double D Challenge and check it out. There's lots of fun to be had there. I hope you aspire to be inspired!!!

Until next time dear readers, here's celebrating your Creative Muse!!

  8. Those panels behind your adorable scarecrow are so god looking and grand. He is the center of the card and what a foxy one he is too. Did you know that I have met Debra several times. She certainly has come a long way. Oh, and you vacation looks amazing.
