There's something exciting going on over at Double D. We are honored to have been invited by ALTENEW to collaborate with them on a fun challenge. Our challenge is ANYTHING GOES, and using stencils is OPTIONAL. Here is the Mood Board for our Double D Challenge inspiration:
Here is my card:
Altenew has some FABULOUS bundle sets which they call Build-a-Garden. These bundles come with a stamp set AND a stencil set which is very detailed with many panels. The one here is called Magnificent Branch. It is a HUGE stamp, large enough to cut apart to make 2 cards. Below you will see a couple cards I made with just part of the image. Altenew also offers dies to go along with the stamp image as a separate item. For this card I stamped my own background on a white panel with an Altenew stamp set called Wildflower Doodles. I used Altenew inks in Sand Dunes and Espresso. Then I sponged the edges for a distressed look. After I stenciled in the colors on the image I used my Prismacolor Pencils to enhance the flowers.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great display of the different looks that you can get from one stamp/die. I love the vintage look of the roses on the first card. What a fantastic way to display that single rose on a branch! The last card is so mystical and look at the texture you got! A fun post and challenge.
