Dear Ones~ There's a new challenge over at Can You Handle the Pressure. For this challenge blog you MUST use an EMBOSSING FOLDER on your project. Heat embossing (with embossing powder) is permitted but only IN ADDITION to your embossing folder design. Each new challenge will have a 'TWIST' which is optional ... your choice to use or not.
The OPTIONAL TWIST for today's challenge is:
FALL COLORS
Here is my card:
I have recently discovered digital downloads, where you can purchase images (for a VERY low price), download them to your computer, and print them out in any size you want on any paper your printer can accommodate. Here I printed out a beautiful watercolor image on tracing paper. It's gorgeous and gives an ethereal look. I attached the panel with brads and then added an embossed panel in SU Cajun Craze for an accent.
The Ingredients:
PTI Rustic White Card Stock
Tim Holtz Gold Card Stock
SU Cajun Craze Card Stock
Spellbinders Plaid Company Embossing Folder
Watercolor Autumn Forest Digital Paper
by DigitalCurio
Altenew Leaf Mix Die Set
SU Special Moments Stamp Set for Greeting
SU Cajun Craze Ink
If you head on over to the Can You Handle the Pressure Blog
and
play along, you could win this beautiful embossing folder. And don't forget
to
check out all the beautiful cards the other designers have created while
you are there. I can't wait to see all your wonderful designs!!
Until next time dear reader, I hope you "can handle the pressure"!
Here's celebrating your CREATIVE MUSE.

ReplyDeleteFantastic Fall card design! Gorgeous on those colors!
ReplyDeleteI am loving your collage of fall colors. They are so pleasing and I like the splash of red to match the panel that you added. Good to see that you have found digitalis!
ReplyDeleteThat was me, Barb,
ReplyDeleteThat looks amazing! Well done in finding those gems to print! Love the colors and that water color vibe I get from it! Your pretty textured panel reminds me of a shutter on a cape cod cottage! And those leafy die cuts are awesome! Pretty all over!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many things to enjoy in this craft of ours. That is a gorgeous watercolor-looking piece you printed, and even better that you printed it on tracing paper. I love every bit of your beautiful card, Judy!
