Mod Squad Challenge - A Day for Mothers

Dear Ones~
It's my turn again over at Mod Squad. Since we are in May now, I decided that my challenge would simply be to make a Mother's Day card. The only stipulation is that the word MOTHER must be on the front of the card. While I no longer have my mom to make a card for, I do have a lovely friend named Edie to whom I always send a Mother's Day card.

Ink On 3 - Tiny Dancer

Dear Ones~
It is my honor to be guest designing for a fabulous company named Ink On 3. This is a wonderful company that offers inks, stamps, dies, stencils, even svg files, and more. Swing on over and check them out. You won't be sorry.

Today I have a cute and whimsical card that I hope will make you smile. I love that little mouse from the Dance and Twirl stamp set, and I thought it would be fun to have her dancing on a flower. So I pulled out the Water Lily stamp set and here's what I came up with.

I began by stamping the flower, leaves and the mouse on watercolor paper with Ink On 3 Blackout Detail Ink. I die cut the mouse image with the companion die from the Dance and Twirl set. A slit was cut in the center of the water lily with a craft knife so that I could insert the foot of the mouse to look like she was pirouetting in the middle of the flower.  Then I colored the images with Atelier Re-inkers. Those inks are amazing. The colors are extremely rich, a little goes a long way.

 The Ingredients:
 SU Pink Flamingo Card Stock
Strathmore Watercolor Paper
Stash Patterned Paper
Quick Kutz Hexagonal Dies
Ink On 3 Dance & Twirl Stamps
Ink On 3 Water Lily Stamps
Ink On 3 Dogwood Flower Stamps for Greeting
Ink On 3 Atelier Re-inkers in:
*Blackout Detail
*Twiggy Brown
*Marilyn Red
*Bee Sting Yellow
*Marigold Orange

I would invite you to hop on over to the Ink On 3 website and take a look at all the wonderful products offered there. And thanks for stopping by. As always, I adore your comments.
Hugs~
