Double D - Red and Teal

Dear Ones~
This time over at Double D we have a color challenge. We are to use Red and Teal.....LOVE these colors together. Just look at this beautiful Mood Board provided for our inspiration.

Here is my card:
I just love this image by Paper Wishes called Artful Affirmations. It's full of greetings like this. I stamped the focal with red pigment ink by Close to my Heart and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped the image again on teal card stock and fussy cut the heart. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye and the white dry embossed background panel is from an embossing folder from Paper Studio.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD Red Velvet, White and Blue Lagoon Card Stock
My Mind's Eye Penny Lane Patterned Paper
HOTP Artful Affirmations Stamp
SU Oval Layering Dies
Paper Studio Lines and Dots Embossing Folder
Nuvo Crystal Drops
Stash Ribbon
Stash Dragonfly Punch
I would love it if you would stop on over to the Double D Blog to see what the other designers have created. And if you play along you could win these awesome die sets!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are having a great week. Don't forget to swing by Double D and check us out.  Oh, and I so appreciate your lovely comments!!!
Hugs~

  4. You have the best pattern papers! This one is super, but you have used it in a fabulous way to emphasize the colors on this challenge. The sentiment of the focal point and so original to add the heart. Lots of layers make this card incredible.

  7. Great design as always. The sentiment is fabulous and I love that you fussy cut the heart in teal. It really makes the sentiment pop. And like Donna, of course, you have red and teal pp in your stash.
