Double D - Nautical

Dear Ones~ Dear Ones~
This time over at Double D we are going NAUTICAL. Just look at this awesome Mood Board provided for our inspiration!

So here's my card:

I had so much fun making this card. I recently acquired a new die set from Stampin' Up called Under the Sea Framelits. It includes that awesome fishnet die along with the coral and sand dollars. I also am in possession of some really crazy and cool new embossing powders by Seth Apter called Baked Texture. You can watch a video showing these powders HERE. The sand dollars have been heat embossed with the Dirty Sand powder and the fishnet and corals are also embossed with various other powders. I stamped the GKD sailboat on the background patterned paper and then stamped again on Watermelon Wonder and Warm Cocoa card stock, then fussy cut and adhered to the stamped image for dimension.

Here are the Ingredients:
GKD Warm Cocoa and Ivory Card
GKD Ocean Mist Card
SU Watermelon Wonder Card
Paper Studio Beach House Patterned Paper
GKD By the Sea 2 Stamp
SU Under the Sea Framelits
SU Very Vintage Stamp for Greeting
SU Crumb Cake Ink
Seth Apter Baked Texture Embossing Powder

I would love it if you would stop on over to the Double D Blog to see what the other designers have created. And if you play along you could win this adorable die set!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are having a great week. It's wicked hot here in Northern Michigan. Supposed to be in the 90's for several days!!! We are NOT used to this!!

Don't forget to swing by Double D and check us out.  Oh, and I so appreciate your lovely comments!!!
Hugs~
