Dear Ones~
There's a new challenge over at Can You Handle the Pressure. For this challenge blog you MUST use an EMBOSSING FOLDER
on your project. Heat embossing (with embossing powder) is permitted but only IN ADDITION to your embossing folder design. Each new challenge will have a
'TWIST' which is optional ... your choice to use or not.
The OPTIONAL TWIST for today's challenge is:
BIRTHDAYS
Here's my card:
I really like this die set by Honey Bee, there are so many possibilities with it. Using all the colors of card stock was great fun. This is for my brother-in-law, who is an avid fisherman, I hope he likes it. I borrowed the design from an artist on Pinterest. Try as I might, I could not find the post again. I feel bad about that, but just know this is not my original design. I love that Tim Holtz Tree Ring embossing folder and I think it is a perfect backdrop for the vintage lures. Getting that linen thread to hang from the branch was a chore, I had to hold my mouth just right to get it done. ;-)
The Ingredients:
GKD Ivory, Red Hot and Kraft Card Stock
Tim Holtz Tree Rings Embossing Folder
Honey Bee Vintage Lures Die Set
Assorted Colored Card Stock
SU Itty Bitty Birthday Wishes
SU Seasonal Layers Die for Branch
SU Linen Thread
