Double D - Happy 8th Birthday/Anniversary and SOME EXCITING NEWS!

 Dear Ones~
Well, it's another holiday season in the books. I hope yours was happy and blessed, I know mine was. And now on to our next Double D Challenge. This time we are celebrating our 8th anniversary/birthday. Time sure does go by fast. The metal for the 8th anniversary is BRONZE, so you can use that color if you want, but you don't have to. Here's the Mood Board for our inspiration:
And here's my card:
I kind of tried to do the bronze thing with some different metallic card stocks I had. The die is a cute one from Stampin' Up called Detailed Birthday Edgelits. I did the inlay technique, which took some time, but it is fun to do. Like working a puzzle.

 The Ingredients:
GKD White Card Stock
Stash Glitter and Metallic Card Stock
SU Detailed Birthday Edgelits
SU Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp for Greeting
Spellbinders Floral Embossing Folder
Stash Woven Ribbon

If you head on over to the  Double D Challenge Blog and play along, in celebration of our 8th anniversary/birthday you could win all these goodies.

Prize is for ONE winner:
Altenew Floral Frame Stamp set & Project sheet
Spellbinders Hand Drawn Scallops EB folder
Scrapbookdotcom Glitter Brush Marker

AND NOW FOR SOME EXCITING NEWS~~
We have a new and exciting challenge beginning on January 4th. It's called WORD POWER.

This will be a monthly challenge that beings on the FIRST Thursday of each month and ends on the LAST Thursday of that month.  There will be badges for a Winner & Top 3 available.

WORD POWER is a challenge blog focusing on using the many sentiment/word stamps & dies we all have in our crafting stash.  Our objective is to create projects that, as soon as the recipient opens the envelope, the first thing that catches their attention are the WORDS/Sentiment on the front. This can be a Phrase Sentiment stamp/die or a Single Word but if it's a single word, it must be large enough to catch their eye ... NO LITTLE ONE WORD sentiments will qualify for our winning badges and could be deleted.

We hope you'll come join us in this new adventure!
All the details can be found HERE.

Again, the fun begins January 4, 2024 ... see you there!!

Until next time dear readers, aspire to be inspired.
Here's celebrating your Creative Muse!!

  8. What a delightful array of gifts. So many shades and textures of bronze. Tedious paper piecing but the finished design is amazing. Love the border trim too. I've never seen it in bronze. Happy New Year to you!
